Please note the copper pots pictured below as well as above, being utilized by Chef Shepherd and our student chefs. These treasures are from the personal kitchen of Chef Shepherd's mother, Chef Ele' Shepherd, who recently passed away. They are near and dear to the heart of Chef as well as to our program. Chef Ele', we will miss your contributions to our program but know that you are present with us always.
As the 2017-2018 school year winds down, we decided to end the year with some fun. Pictured are our second year students who will be our "Black Hats" next year. As a Black Hat, students chefs will take on a managerial role. Expectations will be to model the appropriate behavior and guide/assist our first year students.
The South Lake Bistro hopes you have an enjoyable summer. We look forward to serving you in the fall!
